A NOTE FROM JULIE;
For as long as I can remember I loved all things beauty. It started when I was little and I would try on my Mom’s makeup, and from there I spent every morning before school putting on a full face with strip lashes. During my freshman year of high school I was given the opportunity to attend Cosmetology classes at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute while also taking my academic classes there. I spent 4 years in school learning hair, nails, and makeup. Ultimately at the end of the school in 2014 — I decided I really didn’t jive with hair and decided not to pursue my license.

A few years later after continuing to be obsessed with all things makeup, and now skincare I decided to go back to school in 2018 to Bethlehem Vocational Tech and take night classes while working full time. I completed those required hours and discovered to my excitement that my hours I had obtained for my Cosmetology license where still active so I brushed up on my Cosmetology knowledge 4 years after graduating high school and took both state tests and passed!

As a fully licensed Esthetician and Cosmetologist, I started as an Esthetician and performed facials and body waxing. From there I decided to jump right into lash extensions. I worked under 2 different locations for over a year lashing clients from Lehigh Valley as well as the Poconos. I completed a Volume Lash Certification from Borboleta and then a Mega Volume Certification from SoCal Beauty shortly after. I really enjoyed the technical and creative aspect to lashes. Where something as small as the curl of the lash could create an entirely different look on a clients eye.

Makeup by Roxy had always been a place I heard amazing things about, from other clients and colleagues. I reached out December 2021 to Roxy inquiring about a lash artist position and lo and behold she had been about to post that they were hiring! It was fate. I started on December 15th 2021 and I’ve been happily part of this wonderful family since. I happily offer Wet Lashes, Hybrid Lashes, and Volume and Mega styles. I also offer brow and other facial waxing services. I specialize in hard wax for sensitive skin types. I love chatting as well as hunkering down and listening to a podcast or audiobook while I lash. I love meeting new clients and learning about what makes them feel comfortable and beautiful. Let’s meet & chat lashes! ✨
