DO You Travel?
Absolutely! Our bridal packages automatically include the first 45 minutes worth of travel, anything over the 45 minutes is a small fee - and can be custom quoted based on location!
I have a destination wedding, will you travel — ”that far” —?
We will travel anywhere you need us. We have done destination weddings in the UK, Caribbean, Vegas, Seattle, Atlanta, Fenwick Island, Ocean City Maryland, Finger Lakes NY, various locations in Florida & so many more! Destination weddings are custom quoted based upon location. You want to feel both beautiful & comfortable on wedding day! We travel to you to ensure your wedding day beauty is absolute perfection.
How far in advance can i book? Do you take last minute bookings?
When you’re ready - we’re ready! We currently have confirmed bookings through 2021.
Last minute: If we have the availability with our team, we would be more than happy to make things work for your special day. Please note that bookings less than 45 days in advance do incur a 20% service charge added to final balance, for quick turnaround bookings. All services provided by Team MBR are required to be paid in full 2-weeks in advance of wedding day, regardless of when services are booked. If under the 2-week mark, payment is due in full immediately.
what is your booking procedure for weddings?
Wedding bookings are a special breed to ensure both YOU and WE are on the same page. We do require date reservation paperwork, along with deposit to save the date. We also require a credit/debit card authorization to be on file for payment emergencies. This paperwork is due 1-week from receipt to ensure your date is secured. Once we approach the big day & all the wedding day logistics are worked out, you will receive a final beauty timeline from us to know when we show up, where we will show up and the services that are being provided. This timeline will also include how to pay your final balance which are due, in full, 2-weeks in advance of the big day.
what products do you use?
Each artist builds their own kit based on personal preference & experience with products. However, you will find that while not entirely identical, each of our kits host similar & familiar high end brands:
Makeup Kits: Estee Lauder, MAC Cosmetics, Urban Decay, Makeup For Ever, Cover FX, Embryolisse, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Chanel, Dior, Origins, NARS, House of Lashes, and much more.
Hair Kits: Kenra, Big Sexy Hair, Amika, Moroccan Oil, IGK, Sebastian, Verb, Design Me, and much more.
Regardless: We have all come to agree that no single line does everything right, so we hand select items for our kit rather than comprise of a single brand.
Sensitive skin / allergy concerns?
Everyones skin is different, and can be sensitive to certain products or ingredients. Before starting an application, our artists inquire on any allergies or sensitivities you may have. If you feel more comfortable bringing your own products due to sensitivities, you absolutely may! Our artists will assess your products to ensure they are photograph friendly & work with you from there!
Can i book just hair / just makeup with your team?
Absolutely! You are more than welcome to book individual services, or package them! You are also able to mix and match! Group of 4 need makeup, and only 2 need hair? No Problem! Shoot us an email for custom quotes and planning!
Are lashes included?
YES! They make a difference! Our team offers 12 to 15 different styles of false lashes. They are custom fit for your eye shape, are day-of wear lashes only (not meant for several days), and are applied with a waterproof/latex free glue. They range from natural to dramatic. We apply band lashes that stay securely in one spot during sweat & tears. We do not supply individual lashes which have a higher risk of loss during sweat or tears. Lashes are optional, but included in our prices.
If you’re interested in Lash Extensions - we offer them! They last 2+ weeks & can be filled to wear continually. This is a service done prior to wedding day for extended wear, ie. rehearsal dinner, wedding day, honeymoon. Please visit our services page for more information.

Can we show you pictures?
Of course!! Our artists are happy to re-create looks for you. Before starting, the artist will assess what it is you like about the image & if it is realistic. If you wear no makeup and show your artist a heavy black eyeshadow with glitter, be prepared for us to inquire if you normally wear that, or if you will feel comfortable. It is our job to make you feel your absolute best, so we will absolutely ask questions and be real with you. We also expect the same, if you want changes...our crew doesn’t offend easily: Speak Up! Communication is key.
What is your booking policy for in-studio?
Our in-studio appointments (prom, lessons, special occasions) are different than our on-location weddings. Our studio is open by appointment only. Our weekends often sell out quickly between studio and on-location beauty services. Last minute? Still give a call, we will see what we can work out for you!
In-studio appointments require a card to be on file to secure your time. This card is not used for payment unless cancellation policy is in effect. Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance, or 50% of service fee will be charged. 24 hours or less, as well as no show appointments are subject to 100% of the service charge. Providing a card number agrees to these terms.
